Egyptian inflation grows by 10.3 percent in Oct


(MENAFN) The Central Agency for Public Mobilization showed that Egypt's monthly inflation ratio grew by 2.3% during October as opposed to September.

On a wider scale, the yearly inflation amount amplified by 10.3 percent in October, compared to last year's corresponding month, as the agency announced.

Moreover, the price of food and beverages jumped in October by 2.6 percent compared to the previous month, which reflects a 12.9 percent annual climb.

The inflation rates carry on growing as latest data showed that the inflation level increased by 2.8 percent through September compared to prior August.
