Oman's TMK scoops deal for huge pipeline scheme
(MENAFN) TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry (TMK GIPI) LLC, the top Omani pipe manufacturer has secured a deal to supply steel pipes for the 290 km multi-product fuel pipeline project.
This massive development will join the Sultanate's two refineries in Muscat and Sohar, as well as a new national fuel storage hub planned at Al Jifnain, as the available data shows.
The firms responsible for the project include; Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (SAOC), plus Orpic Logistics Company which is investing approximately USD320 million.
When finished by mid-2017, the Muscat-Sohar Pipeline Project will guarantee the timely availability of refined products across the nation against the growing trend in local demand growth.
