Kuwait- Sheikh Thamer Ali to partake in Amman Security Colloquium


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait National Security Bureau Chief Sheikh Thamer Ali Al-Sabah will partake in the 9th session of Amman Security Colloquium, to start Wednesday.
Sheikh Thamer, who arrived in Amman Tuesday evening, would be one of the keynote speaker at the event together with the US Under Secretary of State Rose Gottemoller, NATO Assistant Secretary General Sorin Ducaru, the first chairman of the Syrian Transitional National Council Burhan Ghalion, Palestinian Chief Negotiator Saeb Erekat and Chairman of Jordan Atomic Energy Commission Khaled Toukan.
The Amman Security Colloquium a high level event organized the Arab Security Institute to examine the pressing regional and international security problems, including conflicts in many parts of the world.
The two-day forum aims to promote security dialogue and seeks innovative mechanisms to resolve conflicts and retaining regional and international security and stability.
It also sets an exposure to the International scene and strives to get a balanced view from credible sources.
