(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury on Tuesday discussed with the Director General for the Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement at the European Commission, Christian Danielson, ways to boost partnership between Jordan and the EU.
The Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Resilience Development Forum (RDF) that is currently being held at the Dead Sea, discuss means to improve cooperation between the Kingdom and the EU in various fields, especially in the framework of the European neighborhood policy and Jordanian -European relations.
Head of European Union Delegation in Amman Andrea Fontana also attended the gathering and stressed Jordan's commitment to deepening its partnership with the EU in a way that serves both sides.
The two sides also stressed the importance of what has been achieved until now on the comprehensive review of the European Neighborhood Policy that will be issued mid November.
