Jordan- Arab media efforts integration is a key priority, says minister


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Mohammad Momani said that integration among Arab states, namely, in terms of media efforts, is a key element to confront challenges facing the Arab nation, particularly the fight against terrorism and extremism.

Momani told Petra , Sunday on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Amman terrorist attacks, that the Jordanian state is in continuous battle with terrorism, adding that the tools and mechanisms of this confrontation are being developed at all level, in order to eradicate this phenomenon.

He stressed that the way Jordan had dealt with the Amman attacks, reflects the strength of the Jordanian state and its ability to fight terrorism, noting that terrorist's agenda is clear and needs to be encountered by all.

"War against terrorism lies in three major issues including military and security aspects, cutting financial and logistical supplies and facing this ideology in terms of media and culture, Momani said.

Momani also praised the martyrs and their sacrifices in defending their country and Islam's values.
