UAE- Minister of Labour meets Danish Ambassador to discuss cooperation

ABU DHABI 9th November 2015 (WAM) -- Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash Minister of Labour has met with Merete Juhl Danish Ambassador to the UAE to discuss aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the areas of labour.

During the meeting which was held today at the minister's office in Abu Dhabi the two sides stressed their keenness to enhance cooperation and the exchange mutual experiences in a way that reflects positively on the labour forces and market in both countries.

Ghobash spoke about new decisions regarding the use of ministry approved contracts employment termination and the issuance of new work permits.

The minister pointed out that these decisions are a result of the ministry seeking to actively promote balance stability and transparency in contractual working relationships between parties.

The Danish Ambassador praised the UAE for the development it is witnessing in various fields and the MoL for its policies and efforts to control and regulate the labour market in the country.
