Three Turkish policemen, child injured in bomb blast in Mardin


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Three Turkish police troops and a child were injured when Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) militants detonated a bomb in the southeast city of Mardin, security sources said.
The PKK militants detonated the bomb when a police armored vehicle was on a patrol in Mardin injuring three personnel and a child who happened to be in the scene, the sources were quoted by the Anadolu news agency as saying Sunday.
The wounded were rushed to hospital in Mardin for treatment, while security forces were combing the area in search of the attackers.
Fighting renewed between the Turkish forces and PKK last July ending around two years and a half of cessation of hostilities. The fighting renewed after a suicide attack in the southern town of Suruc that killed 33 Kurdish activists.
