Sukhoi to feature Superjet at Dubai Airshow

DUBAI 8th November 2015 (WAM) - Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAS) will showcase its Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) an advanced and cost-effective commercial aircraft at the five-day Dubai Airshow that opened today (November 8) at Dubai South.

The SSJ 100 is built with state of the art technologies in aerodynamics engine and aircraft systems. The high standard of comfort is the distinctive feature for this aircraft. The SSJ100 cabin is designed by the well-known Italian design and engineering firm Pininfarina boasts an optimal combination of commercial efficiency with maximal comfort level.

Ilya Tarasenko president of SCAS said: "The Middle East is one of the most important regions for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 liner promotion. According to the OAK market review in 2015 during the period from 2015-2034 the annual rate of passenger traffic growth is forecasted to rise to over 6 per cent."

"At the beginning of 2030 the passenger airlines turnover is set to increase up to 12 per cent of the world index making 1845 billion passenger-kilometers. The projected sales of aircrafts' dimension from 60 to 200 seats at Middle East market is set to exceed 700 planes.
