REFILE UAE Ambassador to Lebanon meets pan Arab chambers union officials

BEIRUT 6th November 2015 (WAM) --- Ambassador of the UAE to Lebanon Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi has met with a delegation from the General Union of Chambers of Commerce Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries UAC to discuss preparations for the 17th Arab Investors and Businessmen Conference ABIC to be held in Abu Dhabi in mid-November.

The two parties discussed ways to promote economic relations between the UAE and Lebanon to serve the interests of the two countries especially after the opening last week of the Office for the Promotion for Lebanese-Gulf Economic Relations an important move in the context of reiterating support for Lebanon.

The delegation included Adnan Kassar honorary chairman of the pan-Arab union and Lebanon's former economy minister Shahin Shahin assistant secretary-general of the union and Adel Kassar deputy chairman of the board of directors of Fransabank Group.
