Netanyahu to meet Obama for 50 billion in military aid

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House on Monday for the 16th time in the past seven years.
Israeli media reported that the meeting will focus on military aid to Israel and the current conflict between Israel and Palestine.
According to the Jerusalem Post Netanyahu’s meeting with Obama comes in hopes of securing an additional $2 billion a year in military aid to Israel.
“Israel now wants a decade-long security package beginning in 2017 worth $5 billion per year an increase from the last package that was worth $3 billion a year” an Israeli security source was quoted as saying by the Jerusalem Post. “Iran’s military reach has grown stronger in the region after it reinforced its assets in Syria.”
In addition Israel is facing Hezbollah in the north Hamas in Gaza and Daesh which is growing stronger in Sinai.
