Iceland's balance deficit declines significantly in Oct


(MENAFN) The previous month saw Iceland's deficit in its balance of trade in goods drop to USD27.9 million as opposed to USD51 million in September.

Initial numbers show the total of imported goods hitting USD38.9 million, whereas the value of exported goods amounted to USD36.1 million.

The worth of exported goods in October shrank USD773 thousand when compared to Sep, while the value of imported goods fell USD30 million.
