House Speaker commends outgoing Chinese envoy's efforts


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarawneh, on Wednesday received the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Gao Yusheng marking the end of his term of duty in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, Tarawneh expressed appreciation of the ambassador's efforts for further boost relations and cooperation between Jordan and China.

House Speaker also valued china's support to regional issues especially the Palestinian cause.

The envoy hailed high level of bilateral ties between the two friendly countries thanks to the Leadership of his Majesty King Abdullah II.

Yusheng highlighting at the same time the King's visit to China, which strengthened the strategic partnership and marked a new era of cooperation with a number of agreements being signed including establishing a Jordanian-Chinese Technical University in the Kingdom.

The ambassador said he will continue supporting industrial and economic projects in the Kingdom, mainly those related to energy, stressing that Chinese investments in the Kingdom are growing rapidly.
