Emirati Korean Friendship Society receives South Korean youth delegation

DUBAI 4th November 2015 (WAM) --- Chairman of the board of directors of the Emirati-Korean Friendship Society Humaid Abdullah Al Hammadi on Tuesday received a group of South Korean youth to discuss cultural and tourism cooperation and visit exchanges between the two countries.

In his remarks during the meeting he underscored the importance of youth exchange programmes supervised and promoted by the society and the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The visit of the South Korean youth delegation is aimed at building cultural and intellectual bridges between the UAE and South Korea the chairman of the Emirati-Korean Friendship Society said.

The Emirati-Korean Friendship Society Al Hammadi noted encourages Emirati youth to organise joint events and exhibitions to promote the traditions and cultural heritage of the UAE and South Korea.

While in the UAE the South Korean youth delegation will visit government departments including the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare and a number of landmarks including Burj Khlaifa the world's tallest building Dubai Museum the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and others.
