(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Iran's Foreign Minister's Assistant for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with Syria's Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Meqdad, official media reported Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed recent developments in Syria, ongoing coordination and consultations between Iran and Syria regarding issues of joint interest, and countering terrorism, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
They also discussed anti-terrorism efforts, political updates in light of the Vienna conference on Syria, and the Iranian proposal on the political track in Syria.
