UAE- Sharjah Economic Development Department celebrates Flag Day

This was the day when His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became the President of UAE.

According to the directives the country's government and federal entities have to raise the flagon their buildings at 12 pm as a sign of unification.

His Excellency Sultan Abdulla bin Hadda Al Suwaidi SEDD Chairman said that the flag symbolises the pride and strength of the nation so we have to keep ithigh always.

Furthermorehe confirmed that the flag day reflects the unity of the country as well as highlights theloyalty wise leadership and belonging to the country. Then he added that the countryhas many continuous achievements under the leadership of the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is following up with the great work of his Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

As for the celebration's program Abdelaziz Omar Al Midfa Deputy Director of Government Communication Department in SEDD said that the ceremonyexpresses the sincere loyalty and belonging to the country as well as the wise leadership of Shaikh Khalifa. Also a board was placed at the main lobby in the Department for the employees to express their feelings of pride towards the country.
