Palestinians clash with Israeli forces in Surif town


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Violent clashes erupted on Tuesday between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces in Surif town, north of Hebron in the West Bank.

The Municipality of Surif said in a statement that the clashes erupted when Israeli forces stormed two houses in the town and used tear gas canisters as well as rubber bullets, leaving a number of Palestinians suffocated.

Also today, the occupation forces fired tear gas at the town's schools, forcing them to close.
