(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The State of Qatar welcomed the results of the Turkish early parliamentary elections that took place yesterday.
In a statement released today, the Foreign Ministry described the elections as an important step in the march of democracy, unity and stability in the brotherly Republic of Turkey, stressing that the results are a true reflection of the Turkish people's willingness to complete the success and prosperity process.
The statement expressed Qatar's hope that the elections would contribute to the achievement of further progress, prosperity and growth for Turkey and its people, stressing the close brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples.
