UAE- Zayed Giving Initiative concludes humanitarian initiatives in Egypt

CAIRO 1st November 2015 (WAM) -- The Zayed Giving Initiative delegation has concluded its humanitarian therapeutic surgical training and preventive mission to Egypt in which the Emarati-Egyptian-French medical volunteer teams have conducted several open heart operations for needy patients within a voluntary humanitarian framework.

The volunteer team's visit to Egypt came from the keenness of the Zayed Giving Initiative to provide humanitarian work which has been carried out during the past years in which it benefited thousands of patients from various provinces in Egypt through its strategic partnership with the Saudi German Hospital Dar Al Ber Society Egyptian Volunteer Society Ain Shams University and Emirates Centre for Volunteering in a special joint humanitarian work initiative.

Dr. Adel Al Shamry CEO of the Zayed Initiative said that the UAE is a leader in adopting humanitarian initiatives especially in the health sector pointing out that doctors were able to achieve many accomplishments in the medical field in an unprecedented gesture in the Arab world.

Al Shamry thanked the medical volunteering teams' role in treating hundreds of patients and wished them success in their future duties in helping the poor and needy in various parts of the world.

The CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative reaffirmed that the global humanitarian campaign provided humanity with a model of distinguished work and humanitarian partnerships aimed at providing the best therapeutic and surgical services for needy heart patients.
