October Alone: More than 70 Palestinians Killed


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, at least 72 Palestinians have been killed, while around 2240 others were injured by Israeli forces since the beginning of violent unrest across the Bank, including Jerusalem, on October 1, 2015, Palestinian News Agency ( WAFA) reported.

On Friday, two Palestinians were gunned down by Israeli forces for alleged stabbing attempts in Jerusalem as well as at Za'tara checkpoint, south of Nablus. An eight-month-old Palestinian toddler also died due to excessive tear gas suffocation in the Bethlehem village of Beit Fajjar.

On October 24, 16-year-old Ahmad Kmail was shot dead with at least five live bullets by Israeli army soldiers stationed at al-Jalama Israeli-run military checkpoint to the north of Jenin, after he allegedly attempted to stab one of the Israeli soldiers.
