Seven Egyptians, Yemenis arrested for fighting in Ardiya area


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Seven Egyptian and Yemeni expatriates were arrested for their involvement in a public brawl in Ardiya Industrial Area, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the fight, securitymen rushed to the location and settled the quarrel. They arrested the seven suspects and questioned them to discover four of them are Egyptian barbers and the remaining three are Yemeni restaurant workers. The fight was over a former dispute among them. The suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for deportation, as ordered by the Ministry of Interior.

Meanwhile, MP Faisal Al- Duwaisan has filed a case against an unknown individual who sent insulting text messages to his mobile phone, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, the lawmaker filed the case at Bayan Police Station and provided securitymen with the mobile number. A case No. 429/2015 was filed for investigations.

Fishing in restricted area: An unidentified individual was arrested and a citation was issued against him after he was caught fishing in a restricted part of the Kuwaiti bay area, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to sources, the environment police were inspecting a restricted area of Kuwaiti territorial waters in cooperation with the Coast Guard officers when they noticed a boat and an individual fishing. They arrested him and issued a citation against him before he was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
