(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) United Nations Muharram 18 1437 October 31 2015 SPA -- Ban Ki Moon the Secretary General of the United Nations today welcomed the outcome of Vienna international conference aiming to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
In a statement Ban Ki Moon said this is the first significance-related understanding since Geneva 2012 and the first where a mechanism was reached by countries in charge of finding a solution to the Syrian struggle.
He confirmed that the United Nations stands ready to provide support for these efforts.
