Putin: Terrorists using Middle East Africa as springboard for expansion

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Terrorists may be preparing to expand their violence to other states the Russian president warned.
Terrorists are attempting to use the Middle East and North Africa as a springboard to destabilize other countries Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday.
“Growing terrorist activity and the merging of radical groups with transnational organized crime present a particular danger today. The situation in the Middle East and North Africa raises extreme concern. Terrorists are attempting to use this region as a springboard are recruiting and training new militants who may be used to destabilize other states” Putin said during a security session with the special services from the Commonwealth of Independent States.
