(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The President of Islamic Development Bank Group Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali opened Monday the regular 76th meeting of the institutions of the Coordination Group being hosted by the Bank in Jeddah between October 26 to 28, 2015.
Dr. Ahmad said in his speech that since 1971, the Coordination Group has contributed in an effective role to providing the economic and development efforts in various parts of the world, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
He noted that the total financing operations approved by the Coordination Group and its branches until the first half of 2015 amounted to 235 billion US dollars, about 60% of them allocated to support public and private sector investment to create energy infrastructure, transport, communications and social services.
