(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein met here Tuesday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
They discussed the dangerous developments in the Palestinian territories, especially suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of Israeli attacks and a blatant violation of fundamental norms of international law.
The Palestinian president arrived in Geneva Tuesday evening from Brussels to brief the UN Human Rights Council on the Israeli violations against the Palestinian people and Islamic and Christian holy places.
