(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The UAE-hosted first railway, roads and maritime infrastructure technology conference has called for adoption of creative ideas and innovative solutions in dealing with chronic problems of transport sector in region.
In the final statement, the conferees recommended the establishment of a special society for UAE transport engineers to enhance cooperation, coordination and expertise exchange with a view to be a nucleus for a broader entity on the level of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
It announced that the next conference would be held late October 2016.
