UAE conference on Down Syndrome to be hosted in Dubai Knowledge Village

DUBAI 27th October 2015 (WAM) -- Due to the overwhelming success of previous events and by popular demand All 4 Down Syndrome is to host a two day conference to share information and knowledge on how best to empower people with Down Syndrome so that their full potential is realised.

Renowned experts from Down Syndrome Education International Dr. Kelly Burgoyne Ph.D BSc(Hons) and Ms. Rebecca Baxter BSc(Hons) MSc Cert MRCSLT will be returning to the UAE to share the latest developments and information with medical professionals educators and families.

"We saw the need for further information and knowledge on Down Syndrome and wanted to bring these experts to Dubai in order to give the community the chance to see what we see potential and not only a person with Down Syndrome" said Rebecca Corley founding member of all 4 Down Syndrome on the conference.

Dr. Kelly is a psychologist with a wide range of experience and research interests in development disorders reading and language development. Ms. Baxter is a speech and language therapist specialising in Down Syndrome and has worked with parents professionals and organisations supporting children with Down Syndrome since 1999.

Amongst other key topics our guest speakers will talk about the subject of "Developing Early Vocabulary and Language Skills" and "Supporting Social Development And Behaviour".
