Al Arabi meets UAE Assistant Foreign Minister

CAIRO 26th October 2015 (WAM) - Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi met here today with the UAE Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman who is the current chair of the Arab League's Council.

The meeting focused on the proposed emergency meeting for Arab foreign ministers to be chaired by the UAE to discuss the Palestinian issue and to come up with a mechanism for future action either through the Security Council or the UN General Assembly.

Al Arabi briefed Al Jarman on his recent visit to New York and the outcome of the Security Council's meeting on Palestine and Jerusalem.
