(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Monday visited the Gendarmerie Department where he discussed with its director Brigadier General Hussein Hawatmeh, a number of issues of concern to the department.
His Majesty was briefed by Brigadier General Hawatmeh on the department's achievements, training programs and future plans.
The King voiced appreciation of the efforts exerted by Gendarmerie personnel to safeguard the country's achievements.
The gendarmerie director said the department will continue performing its humanitarian and security responsibilities to the fullest in coordination with other security bodies in line with His Majesty's directives.
