Cross border Indian firing kills two Pakistani civilians


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least two civilians were killed in Pakistanآ's eastern Shakargarh sector as Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing across the Working Boundary on Monday, said officials.
A senior administrative official, Narowal DCO Najaf Iqbal in a statement said that the number of people injured due to the firing has risen to 14. The dead included a 10-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, said DCO, adding that around 59 livestock were also injured in the incident.
Pakistanآ's border force in the area, Punjab Rangers responded the firing befittingly.
The ceasefire violations come days after Pakistan handed over three separate dossiers containing evidence of Indian involvement in subversive activities to United States during the visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Washington.
