Asian nations are Qatar's crude oil main customers


(MENAFN) Qatar shipped out an overall 595,000 barrels per day of crude oil and 522,000 bpd of refined petrol goods through the previous year.

Based on a report released by the US Energy Information Administration Qatar mostly exported its crude oil refined product exports to Asian nations.

Qatar, the world's second-largest exporter of natural gas shipped almost 4.3 Tcf (trillion cubic feet) in 2014, thus it was again the world's largest LNG exporter.

Petrol consumption in Qatar grew from 82,800 bpd in 2004 to 230,000 bpd in 2013, plus it has two refineries with a total crude oil refining size of 338,700 bpd.
