Four confirmed dead after Canada whale watching boat sinks: Coast Guard

Vancouver:Four have been confirmed dead after a whale-watching vessel carrying 27 people sank off Canada's Pacific coast near Vancouver Island and the toll could increase the Coast Guard said Sunday.

"The search continues to locate people unaccounted for" said Lieutenant Commander Desmond James of the Canadian Coast Guard. According to broadcaster CTV five people are missing and 11 have been hospitalized some in serious condition.
