15000 arriving migrants put strain on Slovenia's resources

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Belgrade Muharram 13 1437 October 26 2015 SPA -- Slovenia says it expects a record 15000 migrants to
enter the country Sunday warning that it does not have "unlimited
capacities" to deal with them according to dpa.

A government statement says the situation is under control but with
"immense effort." The statement says all the migrants are arriving
from Croatia which sent the majority of them on five trains. About
1000 are to arrive by bus.

"The total number for today will be 15000" the statement said. "No
country can normally control such a tide as Slovenia has had to
today."

The country does not have "unlimited capacities when it comes to
accommodation personnel technical support and logistics" it says.
The statement is issued as EU and Balkan leaders discuss the refugee
crisis at an emergency conference in Brussels.
