UAE- School gardener 'threatens to kill' student in Sharjah

SharjahEducation Zone is investigatingthe case of a grade six Arab student who was threatened by a gardener that hewould kill him usinganiron tool.

The student who studies at one of the private schools in Sharjahhad informed his father about the incident telling himthat he will not go to school anymore because the school gardener had harassed him threatening tokill him with a gardening tool.

The father immediately lodged acomplaintwith Sharjah Education zone which formed a committee to investigate the case.

An official from the school management told Khaleej Times that they had lodged a complaint against the gardener in the police. The management hadalso askedthe contractingcompany carrying out gardening work at the schoolto replace him with someone else as well asensuring that he would notbeseen aroundthe school any more.

The official addedthat the committee after a thorough investigationhad referred the report to the private school Department at the Ministry of Interior to decide the further course of action.
