INTERRPOL database to be provided at border frontlines


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Public Security Directorate's Arab and International Police Department (AIPD) started measures to provide INTERPOL database at the Kingdom's border crossings.

Jordan Interpol office and in coordination with concerned agencies started measures to provide database that contains all information about wanted fugitives at the Arab and international levels, Director of the AIPD Colonel Bilal Awad told Petra .

Colonel Awad expected the projects to be completed by mid 2016, noting that access to Interpol database will facilitate work of the AIPD at border crossings.
