(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Taller Mamo have become the region's design to watch out. Their Spring/ Summer 2016 show kicked off Day 2 of Fashion Forward Dubai. Italian designer Riccardo Audisio and Argentina's Yago Goicoechea are behind the Dubai-based label Taller Marmo.

In August, the stylish duo were shortlisted as the regional winner of the International Woolmark Prize (IWP). Their womenswear collection was inspired by the travels of English writer Gertrude Bell's travels across the Middle East. Early next year they will head to Milan to participate in the IWP finals. IWP award is one the prestigious awards in the industry with previous winner being Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent. They are also one of ten finalists for Style.Com/Arabia-DDFC Fashion Prize.

A true multicultural label, their designers represent a more clean and contemporary approach to design that is growing in this region. Their Spring/Summer collection included striped twirls elegantly team with metallic organza brocades, lean kaftan dresses, trousers with side flaps for a collection that was easy, breezy and chic. Swimsuits, easy shift dresses, jumpsuits, maxi dresses, this collection celebrated the multi cultured spirit of Dubai!
