Kuwait- Parliament spruced up for fresh session


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The National Assembly has spruced up through modern equipment and impressive changes for the fourth session of the 14th legislative term next Tuesday, Secretary-General Allam Al-Kandari said.
Preparations and arrangements are in full swing for the launching of the new parliamentary session, Al-Kandari said in a press release on Saturday.
The parliament's main corridors, chambers and the grant party hall have been magnificently reshaped, he boasted, adding that the building includes new car parks and gates for guests.
Unprecedentedly, senior members of parliament from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, together with media personnel from GCC and Arab countries, have been invited to attend the session, he said.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will be present in the opening session, Al-Kandari pointed out.
