(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) On her way to Afghanistan Saturday for an official visit, the plane carrying Spanish Deputy Prime Minister and government spokesperson Soraya Saenz de Santamaria had to make an emergency landing in the Corlu district, northwest Turkey, over engine troubles.
The plane carrying Santamaria and a group of journalists accompanying her experienced engine troubles while flying over northwest Turkey. All passengers have been taken to a local hotel until the problem is fixed.
