(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Vienna Muharram 10 1437 October 23 2015 SPA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir participated here today in the quadrilateral meeting with his counterparts from the United States Russia and Turkey to discuss the situation in Syria and find a solution to end the crisis of the Syrian people.
In a press statement following the meeting Al-Jubeir said that the meeting was positive whereas they discussed the implementation of the principles of the Geneva-1 including the establishment of a transitional government in Syria ensuring a smooth transition of power formation of a democratic government and building a new future for Syria that does not include Bashar Al-Assad.
He stressed that there are still differences concerning the date of the departure of Bashar Al-Assad pointing out that future meetings related to ending the crisis will be arranged.
