RAK Ruler: UAE made great strides in tourism

RAS AL KHAIAMH 22nd October 2015 (WAM)Tourism has become a key tool of interaction and peaceful co-existence among different cultures of the world H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah said today.

Sheikh Saud made the remarks while attending a ceremony hosted by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (TDA) in collaboration with the National Council for Tourism and Antiques (NCTA) to celebrate World Tourism Day 2015 marked this year under the theme "One Billion Tourists One Billion Opportunities".

Sheikh Saud said thanks to the unlimited support by the wise leadership the UAE has come a long way in the tourism sector and the country has become a preferred destination for tourists from all over the world.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikhs senior officials and representatives of different tourism organisations.
