UAE participates in human cloning prevention meeting

CAIRO 22nd October 2015 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates has participated in the Arab League's joint committee meeting of experts and representatives of Arab justice interior and health ministries along with religious authorities which began on Wednesday at the Headquarter of the Arab League to review the Arab Draft Convention for Preventing and Combating Human Cloning.

The UAE delegation to the meeting is led by Assistant Advisor Abdullah Hassan Al Marzouki Chairman of the Convention Department at the International Cooperation Administration at the Ministry of Justice and included Mohammed Mohammed Sharif Al Marzouki Director of Research and Publications Department at the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Major Mohammed Ahmed Al Zouaydi a member of the Legal Council at the Ministry of Interior.

The two-day meeting will discuss a set of important issues related to the draft Arab convention for the Prevention and Combating of human cloning with participation of representatives of Arab concerned authorities.
