Kuwait dive team monitors situation of dolphins at Subiya power station

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Three dolphins were found in one of the water tanks at the Subiya power station and the Kuwait dive team is monitoring the situation, said an official on Wednesday.
Team official Mahmoud Ashkanani told KUNA that the team was working with personnel at the power station to make sure that the dolphins were safe.
The two sides are also working together to prevent any damage to the facility, he said.
A monitoring report on the activities of the dolphins have consulted international experts who suggested that the team should continue to supervise the situation until the marine creatures leave the location on their own accord, said Ashkanani.
He added that the dolphins might have ended up in the current location in search for food.
