ADEN 21st October 2015 (WAM)The signs of a street in Aden named after the Emirati martyrs were unveiled today by members of the 'Thank You Emirates of Benevolence' and 'Thank you the Kingdom of Firmness' campaign teams.

The street formerly known as the Corniche Street was re-named Emirati Martyrs Street in gratitude to the UAE soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Yemen and Aden.

The unveiling ceremony coincided with a minute of silence observed by the people of the South in respect for martyr Captain Hadef Humaid Al Shamsi who was killed last Saturday in Aden.

According to the 'Aden of Tomorrow' website the two campaigns celebrated last week the unveiling of signs for King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Street in Aden.
