UN holds close discussion on violence in West Bank
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The UN Security Council Wednesday evening will hold a closed meeting to discuss the recent spate of violence between Israel and the Palestinians, where many people were killed over the past two weeks.
During the meeting, UN Secretary- General Ban Ki-moon will be briefed by video on the situation on the ground from Ramallah.
The UN chief will also be updated on contacts he made during his surprise visit to the region to ease the tension between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
