(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari urged the international community to abide by its promises made during all conferences to increase humanitarian and military aid and services to his country .
During his meeting with EU ambassadors in Iraqi , al-Jaafari stressed the need for a real and effective contribution to the donor conference to be held in the coming period to provide financial support, which covers challenges faced Iraq as a result of the sharp decline in oil prices , the budget deficit and costs of the war against Daesh group.
For their part, EU ambassadors stressed the importance of regular meetings held by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review developments in Iraq and , the region and the world, praising the progress made by Iraq in its war against Daesh group. They stressed the continuing support of their countries for Iraq.
