Four Daesh Militants Killed in Northern Mosul


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Four Daesh militants were killed in a coalition air strike in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

A security source said four military leaders belonging to Daesh organization were killed in an air strike which targeted a house in the district of Taklif, north of Mosul. In another development, Daesh militants burned to death 25 people from the city of Mosul after the so-called the organization's Sharia court sentenced them to death on charges of collaborating with security forces.

In Al Hawija district in northern Iraq, Daesh militants executed 11 young men who were relatives of police members and the popular mobilization forces leaders. Meanwhile police arrested three persons suspected of involvement in the Assassination of Diyala governor.

A security source said Dialy police force carried out a security operation south of Baquba in which three persons, suspected of involvement in detonating two explosive devices that targeted the motorcade of Diyala governor Muthanna Al-Tamimi.
