US- Kerry to travel to Mideast, Europe


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Europe and Middle East beginning tomorrow until next Monday to consult with partners and allies on issues including Middle East violence, crisis in Syria, campaign against ISIL and events in Syria.
"He expects to be able to meet on this trip with (Israeli) Prime Minister (Benjamin) Netanyahu. He expects to meet with (Palestinian) President (Mahmoud) Abbas. He expects to meet with (Russian) Foreign Minister (Sergey) Lavrov. And he's also looking forward to a session with with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Russia and Jordan as well," State Department Spokesperson John Kirby told reporters on Tuesday.
"Given the scope of foreign leaders he's going to meet with, wants to meet with, and balancing schedules, that there's still some work to be done in terms of exact venues," he affirmed.
