(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) UN Secretary General Ban Ki-mmon expressed grave concern over the escalation in the Israeli and Palestinian territories.
Ban made the remarks during a meeting with Israeli president Reuben Rivlin in occupied Jerusalem tonight, the Israeli radio reported.
Ban and Rivlin discussed ways of restoring calm in Israel and Palestinian lands.
Ban is due to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah tomorrow.
