UAE- Sharjah Finance Department reveals its latest smart services at Gitex

DUBAI 20th October 2015 (WAM) -- The Central Finance Department of Sharjah CFD unveiled today at Gitex 2015 its latest smart services which enable vendors of the Emirate's governmental departments to register and update their data in addition to view Request for Proposals RFPs submit tenders and review payments history.

The launch of these two electronic services comes in line with the CFD's strategy to enhance the processes and procedures of Sharjah government departments in relation to financial matters by providing smart and creative electronic services and solutions.

The registration portal enables "Tasheel" listed vendors of Sharjah government entities to sign up their companies with CFD electronically and without having to submit paperwork to any governmental department. These new services complement CFD's already-existing integrated financial system Takamul (Integration).

Meanwhile the vendor's portal provides them with a one-stop shop to view proposals for various government entities' tenders and RFPs their payments history and government entities' ratings for their services and products.

Commenting on the launch of the Electronic Portal Waleed Al-Sayegh Director General of CFD said "Since 2006 the Central Finance Department of Sharjah has embarked on a mission to augment the emirate's government entities performance in relation to financial processes. Our efforts have culminated with the launch of 'Takamul' a fully integrated online financial system a first of its kind in the Arab world.

"The launch of the vendors-specific services today comes as part of the Central Finance Department's strategy to enhance operations of the emirate's governmental departments in relation to fiscal matters. This step also comes in line with the directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah."
