UAE takes part in panel discussion on peace security

CAIRO 19th October 2015 (WAM)--The UAE participated in the panel discussion which began here today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League on boosting the role of Peace and Security Council to achieve regional and international peace.

The event was attended by a number of experts and representatives from Arab countries. The UAE was represented by Ali Al Shamili and Hani bin Huwaiden officials in the UAE Permanent Representative office at the Arab League.

Ahmed Salahuddin Noah Director of the Research and Studies Department at the National Security Sector at the Arab League said the main objective of the discussion is to identify experiences of the regional and international organisations in the field of peace and security.
