(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met here Monday with the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Lucian Aurescu.
Palestinian president briefed the Romanian Minister on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories. Abbas pointed out that the attacks and provocations of settlers against the Palestinian people, their land and the holy places will lead to more tension.
For his part, the Romanian Foreign Minister affirmed his country's full support for the political process based on the principle of two-state solution to achieve peace and stability in the region.
